T’Vaar considered mentioning that many religions preached exclusiveness, and to request benisons from more than one lacked logical consistency.

But logic often failed parents where children were concerned.

She knew that all too well.

T’Vaar accepted their little girl into her arms … caressed a silky cheek … murmured the ritual words…

…and, for a brief, wonderful moment, again had a daughter of her own.
