“You know, they say you can invent anything.”
Sera MacLeod arched a brow, but spared him not a glance.
“‘They’ are exaggerating.”
Brett King smiled.
“Kidding aside for a moment, though, Sera… would it be possible to
make someone love me—in theory?”
The words “in theory” had always held a fascination for her, and
he knew it.
“Hmm. Moral strictures aside, one could certainly combine
bio-chemical triggers and neurotransmitters into what would function, for all
intents and purposes, as a ‘love potion.’”
“Cool. Say you mixed up a batch for me.
“Would it work on you?”
Sera just grinned.
