Despite what some of you might believe, I'm still capable of writing a story in which sex isn't a primary focus. At least, I think I am.

This drabble, though, is not one of them.

Our heroine (or, rather, main character) will figure prominently in Matthew Gurney's upcoming series, Star Trek: Gallant, and she's no shrinking violet. As a matter of fact, Venus flytrap would be more apropos.

Take a look and see if you agree.

"One-on-One Exclusive"

By Joseph Manno

Angela Ryerson rolled over in bed to face the man who'd just made having her back—or, rather, her backside—to him fairly worthwhile.

"Mmm." She flashed an approving leer, then gave him a grateful, strategically placed caress. "Talk about boldly going... I'd definitely have to call this a transwarp drive."

"Are you saying I went too quickly?" he asked, hands moving to fondle her heavy breasts.

After allowing a further ration of amusement, she interposed her arms.

"Worth doing again?" Angela inquired.

"God, yes!" he enthused.

She grinned… and activated her PADD.

"Interview first...

 "...intercourse after."

 Helplessly, he agreed.
